And A Continent Later...

After a stop at Liberal Mountain on the last leg, we are finally home (Google Maps, KML):

Neppy's sleeping on my foot in the living room as Pearl enjoys the lavish attention being paid to her.  Gracey?  Still outside.  The Boyz?  Cowering in the basement.  The Dogz?  Getting picked up tomorrow.

We're home and life is good.  More later.

It was not in a covered wagon, but it was still a long trip:

Welcome Back, Kotter! And E!

I loved reading about your cross country odyssey.

Great trip, but you missed Maine. And Maine missed you.

Glad that you and E got safely home! I've flown across the USA many times (and do also enjoy being 8 miles high) but road or rail are the only ways to get a feel for the vastness and variety of this nation, or indeed a sense of distance. Happy trails for you both ...

I'm disappointed you didn't ride your bikes.
