The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15 (see trends).
Fifty percent (50%) of Democrats Strongly Approve. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Republicans Strongly Disapprove as do 45% of unaffiliated voters.
No jobs bill out of his party's Congress, doubling down on a futile war...I cannot imagine why he isn't more popular.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14.

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove. These numbers have remained constant for months and the Gulf oil spill has not yet had any impact on the president’s overall approval rating.
FWIW, I let the assmussen.com domain slide, if anybody wants to pick it up at their favorite registrar...

Look, Barack, buddy, I get that the BP disaster isn't your fault, but c'mon, you have to do more than set up a fucking commission to solve the short- and long-term problems here. You know, be more involved in the response, stomp on BP's attitude, seize assets, something. And definitively come out against offshore drilling...

I wonder if his numbers will improve as people notice their tax relief...

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 (see trends).
Sixty-six percent (66%) believe that America is overtaxed. Only 25% disagree.
I'm still amazed that folks think "America is overtaxed" (whatever that means--I suspect "I pay more than I think I should, but please don't cut spending on the stuff I like"). 47% of Americans don't pay taxes (that sadly includes some people making over $1M annually) and Obama has cut taxes significantly, which people should notice in this year's returns.
