Go Ask Alice When She's Old Enough To Vote

Hmm:

Republican strategist Evan Siegfried said on MSNBC Sunday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) should refuse to seat Alabama ex-Chief Justice Roy Moore even if Moore does win the special election in December.

Dunno if that's possible.  Is Powell v. McCormack not relevant here, or does the Federal Contested Elections Act override?  I'm thinking they'd have to seat Moore, then vote to expel.

If could actually be moot, despite 29% of Alabamians who are now MORE likely to vote for the pervy old guy now...

What the hell, McConnell refused to even hold hearing for Obama's judicial nominees all the way up to SCOTUS level. He's got practice refusing to do things.
