A message from the House of Representatives, by Mr. Dougherty, their Clerk:
Mr. President: The House of Representatives concur in the amendment of the Senate to the bill entitled "An act for the admission of the state of Maine into the Union," made in conformity to the report of the committee of conference. And he withdrew.
Mr. Wilson reported, from the committee, that they had examined and found duly enrolled the bill entitled "An act to authorize the people of the Missouri territory to form a constitution and state government, and for the admission of such state into the Union on an equal footing with the original states, and to prohibit slavery in certain territories;" the bill entitled "An act for the admission of the statue of Maine into the Union;"...
