Wait a second - who is this?

That's Zoey (formerly misgendered as Zachary).

There have been a lot of changes in the animal cadre over the last 16 months.

As I recall reading, the placement of pigment genes on chromosomes precludes the possibility of a male tri-colored cat. Though I don't really remember the argument so I'm not sure. I've never seen a tri-color who wasn't female.

Remember, Ashcroft, had a deep phobia against tri-color cats, said they were satanic?

Yes, Ashcroft feared them. And I think they are always female. Which is why we shouldn't have listened to the person who told us the genders, but we're trusting people. For the record, I was the one to discover the error--I've finally gotten good at distinguishing kitten parts after many failures.
