Sibling Rivalry

I've been trying hard not to fall in the baby comparison trap--they're gonna get enough of that in their lives--so each child's unique qualities and experiences stand on their own.  Yet it's a struggle, especially given just how different each pregnancy was: Sam's gestation was rife with crisis, Sadie's was fundamentally smooth sailing, even with Ericka's pain and other problems at the end.  Of course they both were ultimately delivered by c-section and share perhaps 50% of their genes, so there's lots of stuff they have in common, too!

Anyhoo, I was poking around early Samuel pictures for his edification and mine:

Big Bruzhoo was a preemie and much smaller than his sister, so needed an assist for a few hours.
