The Reports Of Democracy's Death Are Greatly Exaggerated

Look, I understand that you had a lot invested in Walker's recall (h/t JMG), but Democracy was on full display for the last 18mos and, despite Citizens United, won last night.  It's not about getting the results you wanted, it's the process of debating, weighing in, and casting your vote.

The People rallied and resisted the WI GOP's depradations through peaceful assembly, launched 2 separate major recall efforts, and ultimately flipped a legislative chamber.  That all was astonishing in its own right, and sets the stage for continued work for economic and social justice.

Let's keep a little perspective.
