What A Difference Nine Weeks Make
Pearl settles in nicely back at home after her 8 weeks visiting new families.
Our Baby Geel disappeared when Sam was 1 week old. Now he's 10 weeks, and so very different (as is Pearl). The cat was a little put off at first by our boy's strange noises and other activity, both greatly increased since she left, but Pearl's already come to terms with him. Her brothers and sisters...well, she politely asks them to give her space--she apparently doesn't want to talk about her experience just yet.

Having new family members is stressful for all concerned.
Two things I remember from back when The Boy (Now 12) was a baby are: 1) Before he was born, being worried that we had used up all of the good names on cats. & 2)Our cats expressing their displeasure concerning the new baby's presence by urinating on the baby's clothing and baby carriage.
