It puzzles me that in this day and age many people have little sympathy and understanding for those who suffer from basic mental diseases such as depression, anxiety, phobias, compulsions, etc. Seems to me science has pretty well established that it's *not* just "all in one's head."
And of course, medications can be very effective in helping people cope with these diseases; however, these tend to be expensive. That's why HCR is so crucial.
The struggle for reform continues. Would that Arizona have what Vermont has, though. Here, mental illness gets you elected to office, and full-blown sociopathology makes you the sheriff.
