Magic
Sam did not magically arise today even during this season of Easter. As sad as I am, I take comfort from what Hecate says about what magic really is, the magic that Sam had, and the magic all of you have made with your comments and compassion.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sam, but he was as lucky to have you as you were to have him. You have the menagerie and your special one to comfort you, but there will always be a place in your heart for him.
(Maybe the baby's name could be Samantha. I like that name.) Unless on the off chance it's a boy...

Oh, NTodd! I never met Sam, but I loved seeing him on Dohiyi Mir. I could tell he was a good fellow. I am so sorry.
