Sunny Day
Well, it's actually overcast and finally snowing as the train departs WRJ, but this is cool:
U.S. Rep. Peter Welch says he hopes Vermont-based solar energy companies will be given a boost by a provision he got into the recently passed federal stimulus package.
A new round of solar energy incentives includes a 30 percent rebate for solar projects completed this year or next, but also provides greater flexibility in the timing of construction.
Welch says the measure will help to keep companies like White River Junction-based groSolar growing even in the current tough economy.
The company recently announced the acquisition of a California firm and is now the fourth largest installer of home solar energy systems in the country.

No meetings with Welch scheduled this time since I'm focusing on Leahy, but I do plan on dropping by his office in Longworth to sound out the staff on what he thinks about a TRC.
