Here, There, Everywhere

There's a better picture at CNN, who mentions Code Pink in the opening graf, and an even better one appeared on the NYTimes frontpage yesterday, which I used in a post at the DC blog.  My favorite description, however, comes from Cityfile:

Oh, and every once in a while, those crazy ladies from Code Pink get bitched out by the old white men in suits who don't much appreciate their presence, although it's also a little unclear why they were even allowed to step inside in the first place. They're kind of easy to spot, ya know? They're dressed in pink! And they're women! Whatever.

Yes, they were told to remove their signs or be removed from the hearing.  Hey, John Conyers has told us not to hold up THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES in his Judiciary Committee hearings, so it's something we're used to...

I think it was Nightline I was watching last night when they briefly showed CP being scolded. I laughed and yelled "Go Pink!"
