I will be attending the inauguration with my family, and with hope in my heart. I know we are headed in the direction of marriage equality and equal protection for all families.
BUT RICK WARREN'S INVOCATION IS THE GREATEST ISSUE FACING OUR NATION!!! SHE'S SO STUPID AND BIGOTED AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE DISASTROUS OBAMA ERA!
In all seriousness, Rick Warren is an asscocked cockass and Obama's choice to be "inclusive" and include him is totally bogus. I will certainly be turning my back in protest when I'm at the Inaugural gathering on the Mall (or whereeverthefuck Code Pink ends up). But good on Etheridge for attempting to engage with Warren at all, which is another way to potentially pierce the heart...

I think you're right. But I don't understand Obama's decision, partly because I can't fathom this Warren at all. I do get his qualities (asscockery and cockassery) but I don't get his quiditas.

I am so tired of this bruhaha. Obama has to be President of ALL America. A wonderful Pastor is leading the benediction and Obama invited a gay marching band to participate in the Inaugural Parade - A FIRST!
