Now They Discover The Danger Of Single Party Rule

Poor, poor Republicans:

"These liberals want complete control of government in a time of crisis," says the narrator. "All branches of Government. No checks and balances, no debate, no independence."

I hate having all levers of government in the hands of a single faction, Dem or GOP--it's generally dangerous, though the impact was greatly amplified under a rather corrupt Bush regime.  Madison nailed it a little while back:

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, selfappointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.

Still, I'm willing to give the Dems a 2-year pass to swing the pendulum back as we overcome the Constitutional crisis foisted upon us and repair the damage Bush and his modern corporatist GOP has done at home and abroad.

So boofuckinghoohoohoo, you fascists.  Permanent Republican Majority, my ass.
