It Ain't Just A River In Hershey

AP:

Republican John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin told a Pennsylvania audience Tuesday that "it's wonderful to fool the pundits" and vowed to pull out an upset win over Democratic rival Barack Obama.

Uh...Dewey/Truman this ain't.  National and state polling shows Obama consistently with a landslide margin.  Sure there will be some tightening, but matching up ground game and electoral position at this point in the race, even the pundits aren't just pulling their opinions out of their asses.  Data backs it up and you have no 15-point line on this court.

Sounds to me that it's the Palin/McCain ticket's usual slagging of the media in lieu of any consistent policy message, setting up the blame game for the post mortem, and hoping against hope that his ever-shrinking base bothers to even show up so he won't get completely skunked.
