Poopy Shit Monkey
Now that Daddy's home I think I won't be Poopy Shit Monkey, which the 3yo called me once when I got all disciplinary, ever again. Interesting psychology: when we were having fun I was Todd, but if I didn't let the child get her way she would say, "you're not Todd anymore." Then that one time she came out with an epithet worthy of, well...NTodd.
Mommy will be home on a later flight tonight. Then I can return to my regular life with only furry children to aggravate me and fill me with joy.

[Update: yay, it's not just me! 8yo got the same treatment (sans 'poopy shit monkey') because he didn't want the 3yo to lose some pieces of the game we're playing. And the words, "you're not Daddy anymore," were just uttered.]

Judging by my own childhood, the 8yo's correct response should be, "No, I'm the older brother...a lot worse! Fear me!"

Weird. I read the same thing you did! And was just about to make that comment, when I saw yours, went back to the posting and sure enough, it just says "only furry children..." I rubbed my eyes and looked again. How did that change without reloading the page??
