Pelosi Call

Well, I had connection problems (wireless data and voice has been dicey today) so I missed a good 10 minutes of the conference call but got in to hear some Q&A that dealt with FISA.  Nancy mentioned the Constitution and "King George" a lot in her answers, which I'd hoped would be a good springboard into my question about what we 500 fasters need to do to get impeachment back on the table.  You know, if he's not a king then the Legislature might consider a Constitutional remedy to shut him the hell up.

Then some fucking idiot asked a stupid goddamned bullshit horserace question about an endorsement of McCain by Hagee and she filibustered on that until she had to bail on the call just about 10 minutes ago.  I am quite annoyed by that and by the way she said goodbye: I have to go do some work.

He's a good egg, even if I give his boss shit all the time.  He's lucky I didn't pass along any other questions I got from Atriots:

• When is she officially changing her political affiliation?
• Yes: why the fuck did she take impeachment off the table before even taking office? Not that impeachment was necessary, but why remove the threat?  You don't have to say "fuck" if you don't want to.
• Has she scheduled the spine transplant surgery yet?
• "Madam Speaker, at what specific percent moisture content is Powder considered to be "dry?
• How funky is Cheney/Bush's ass, since her nose is always in their cracks?
• when will the House fold on telecomm immunity?
• Regarding FISA - How does retroactive immunity for the telecoms make us safer? When Will there be any effort made to enforce the House subpoenas against former Bush admin officials?
• How many good Democrats need to be added to the House in 2008 to do what you actually want to do?
• Why are you always caving in to the most unpopular president in the history of the fucking universe?
• How do you plan on limbo-ing under the staggeringly low bar you've set for yourself regarding grownup behavior and the actual commission of your Constitutional duties? Because while you've been a stunning disappointment as a mammal the last eight months, you've also managed to underwhelm my expectations at every turn, so answer me this: HOW YOU GONNA TOP YOURSELF?
• ask her how it feels to be gutless and useless and roll over for the Bush administration every time it matters.
