Mostly still in their self-imposed exile in the basement.
You can see why they're leery: that's one big canine.
But brave Lola, who cowed Sydney this summer, is the first to exchange pleasantries all of his own accord.
Rin is moving better and even eating crunchy kibble, which he had been avoiding--presumably the pain meds are helping with that.

Wow, that ain't no dawg, dude, that's a small heifer. Lola is a good guy. And Rin seems sweet and cat-tolerant like an elderly dog might be. You are one good guy, Mister NoPants.
