Packed Snowblogging

Mex in his usual idiom: full speed.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuper Kayla!

I might just change Rin's name to Tailend Charlie.
The Old Man is gamely trying to keep up with the spunkier siblings in the snow. His pain meds do seem to help, though have no effect on the nerve disorder. Still, he's practically leaping off the stairs now and almost approximates running, or a slow jog, even over wooded paths. He just might be having some fun.

This makes me happy. They know you are the alpha dog, I think.

Hey, I see your shepherd has the same issue - degenerative myelopathy - that my old Sadie had. Unfortunately hers hit early and she couldn't walk by the time she turned 10. We actually bought her a "wheelchair" (still have it if you find you have a need) and that allowed her another 6 months of halfway normal life. But caring for a crippled shepherd is hard work, they are not small dogs. Good luck, hope yours stays mobile.

You are a good dog daddy! It's wonderful you open up your home and heart to homeless animals. They seem to all fit so seamlessly, so easily. Kudos to you for all your hard work and love.

Warp speed Kayla! She almost looks airborne.
It's always a joy to see Bounder of Adventure Mex and his smiling face.
Rin Tin looks like a very happy dog and I'm sure the exercise and fresh air are good for what ails him.

I think I'm definitely becoming a fan of giant Rinnie. Every time I see a pic of him, I get out my pompoms -- "Goooo, Rinnie! Get better, Rinnie! Dooooon't have too much trouble walking! Gooooo, Rinnie!"
