harry!

we're at reid's office right now after a couple hours in the tunnel greeting senators.  many nice interactions.  boxer was a real bitch to des and george, judd gregg (asshole-nh) said when i introduced myself as being from vermont, "yeah, you look like you're from vermont." ted kennedy wears flood pants.  dan rather was also there and wished us a merry xmas.

we met about a 2 dozen senators all told.

i also spoke with an aide of harkin's and warner's.  they were gracious with their time, and while most of what they said was political crap, they were engaged.

overheard just now in harry's office from a staffer on the phone: sir, i can't hear you when you're yelling.
