Saturday Dogblogging
Not enough snow to stick around for more than a few days, so we played a bit to take a break from cleaning and yes, grading. Two of my least favorite activities on the planet next to waterboarding.

Mex suddenly spies a squirrel in a tree at the edge of our woods.

Kayla concentrates on finding things under the snow.

Snow! Yippee! I want some please!
(And I know you'd like a visit from the 5yo and 7yo who are currently standing on the stairs chanting,"Popcorn Party! Popcorn Party! Popcorn Party!" -- this is their contribution to the what's-for-dinner conversation...)

Mex looks weightless in that picture. Kayla's deep-snow diving brings so many memories about Hank doing the same, once being buried almost completely in an upside-down position. Then the snow-plough runs by both dogs side-by-side.

Echidne is correct -- Mex appears to be levitating.
