More Tourism

Some other shots from yestiddy...

Hah!  Funny inscriptions all around the RFK MiniJustice building.

Lincoln would be proud that his monument provided respite from the hot sun on a sweltering day.

I never realized just how tall a President he was.

Geesh, look at that perv leering at the attractive young lady on the pillar.

Jefferson!

Over by the Smithsonian on my way back to the car.

I was thinking of going in again to visit the exhibit on Cherokee and British peace emissaries, but I'm just too tired and lazy.  I'll just bum around Arlington, grab some lunch and chill so I can get some good sleep tonight.  Class starts tomorrow, so I need to be bouncy!  Oh, and I'm having dinner after class with my favorite witch.

Oh, you should go see the new American Indian museum. Also, if you've got a car, I think that the lotus are still in bloom at the Kenilworth Aqautic Garden and they are custom made for photographing.

Jefferson has the most peaceful location in all of DC.

Please check and see if the Constitution is anywhere to be found. Try the National Archives... better yet, check the gift shop and see if they've started printing it on toilet paper yet.

Yay, the National Archives! Time I was there, many wartimes ago (like late 80s), they had letters on display written by Massachusetts Committee of Correspondence members to fellow Correspondents in Philadelphia, just after Lexington and Concord... the real things, the handwriting clear on the paper, right under my nose... hair stood right up on the back of my neck!

Check out the Einstein statue! It's across the road from the Vietnam Memorial in front of a Science bldg.

NTodd just likes Lincoln because he's related to Mary Todd.

Wow!!! The black and white photos are rocking, especially the Jefferson! You're got nice photography skill.

So... if a girl is standing within 50 yards of a spot, men must not even look in that general direction.

to put it bluntly, go fuck yourself.

You continue to be fucking stupid, soullite.

Subtle irony escapes some folks.
