Season's over for us, as expected.  However, I must say we played wicked good ball tonight.  Very close games which really coulda gone our way if a call or two hadn't been missed or if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot on a few points.  And against a team who can put 3 hitters on the front line.

I was actually pleased about that last point because we adjusted to their attacks in BOTH games.  They were dinking early on in Game 1, so we dropped our middle back and brought the corners up.  So they went more for spikes, and I had some fucking awesome blocks that caused them to overshoot the rest of the game when I was up front.  Game 2 they started taking advantage of our exposed center, so we adjusted again and it helped keep the contest tight.

Really, this season was probably the most fun in the...uh, seven years I've been playing in the league.  Not our best in terms of win-loss, but just better, more consistent overall play on my part and as a team.  I feel like we're really close to getting out of 8th or 9th place!
