Got a call from the Town Clerk: the Dogz were delinquent.  Yup, I forgot to renew their licenses, so it cost me all of 18 bucks to get the two of them legal, as opposed to 14 before April 1st.  Bah.

Elaine also reminded me to do my Vermont Homestead Declaration.  I've been in the same damned house for 12 years, but the State wants me to tell them every year that I, indeed, have not moved to the Fortress or into a teepee or to Canada.  Dumb bastards.  They also stole the old Selective Service registration slogan: it's quick, it's easy, and it's the law.
