Gettingbetter Catblogging

Still under the weather, but Da Tail does appear to be improving.

I decided today that I really needed to take Lola in to the vet for my own peace of mind.  He'd puked a couple more times and the nature of it had changed, so I wanted to be sure it's nothing serious.

In the car he was the most vocal I've ever heard before--sounding like a real cat--but he warmed up immediately to the incredibly cute tech (as did Daddy).  He also liked the cute doctor.  Right up until she shoved a thermometer in his ass.

Doc decided to skip an X-ray right now.  No apparent blockages or pain, no fever, so we're operating under the assumption he's got a touch of gastritis and/or some hairball issues.  Giving him some Pepcid and Laxaire and seeing what happens over the weekend.

While I hope he feels better for his own sake, it would also be nice to not have to clean up vomit all over the rugs, hardwood floors and bedding.

I hope Lola improves, soon. Nomad has been doing that all day, too. Older Child Soprano called to say she was spending the last day of her Spring Break from college following him around the house with a roll of paper towels and a bottle of Fantastik.
