They Grow Up So Fast
Per Sandy's suggestion in comments:Sam yesterday; at 7 weeks in October, 2003.
The clapboard on the outside of the house is about the height of the heating register in the photo on the right, so you can see just how much The Boy has grown...

Oh. My. God. He was an absolutely adorable kitten, but never would have thought he'd grow up to be so very regal looking.

Is that not cool! Sam still sits the same as he did as a wee kitty. Photos are adorable. Sam is a regal cat.

honestly, he looks a little goofy as a kitten, considering he grew up to be a bodhisattva, and all.
you can trash this comment if it hurt his feelings, but i suspect he's nobler than that.
