The Streak Is Over
The only poll worth paying attention to™:
Forty percent (40%) of American adults approve of the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Fifty-seven percent (57%) disapprove.
However, a separate measure of Presidential Approval finds that just 35% of Likely Voters give the President good or excellent marks. Sixteen percent (16%) say he’s doing a “fair” job while 48% say his job performance is poor.
Regular Assmussen Sub-40 Streak ended at 12. Odd that Scottie released this great news 90 minutes early.
But lookie at that "separate measure". Since it debuted a coupla weeks back, it has consistently been mired in the mid-30s with occasional departures to the high-30s.

Does their polling methodology factor in a target percentage of self-identified Republicans? It could hover around 40% forever if they do that.
