Homeagainblogging
Sam wanted out as soon as I got home, even though Mason came over for a homecoming cookie. The rest of the Pack is hangin' with Daddy:

While I really appreciate the fact that Mex is excited to see me when I pick the Dogz up, does he have to draw blood every time?

Fortunately, Kayla generally just wags her ass and barks at me in greet, though she has taken to jumping a little bit of late (thanks, Mex).

Lola seizes Vinnie's usual spot.

"Motherfucker!"

More hand-holding, this time with Lola and his sister.

Homecomings take a lot of energy.
And a few from where I was:

From tigre's living room.

I just love all the water towers on rooftops in NYC.

The Empire State Building at sunset.
Now perhaps some dinner, then a podcast...

Great photos. Mex looks like he's got a bit of wild dog in him.

That's funny, chi-dyke: I responded to the captions for first two dog pics, and, after the day I had with my two (human) kidz, I heard parental exasperation in NTodd's tone...
Also, that pink curtain made me remember a muscle-teed laundry-liner air-shaft fella photo. Perhaps from the same spot. But I'm too lazy to look it up. I hope you had a lovely trip, Todd.

They all look so happy to be home.
But what is this obsession with photographing Vinnie while he's bathing?
Can't a guy get a *little* privacy?

Mex is just excited to see you after you were gone for so long. My dogs do that when I am just gone for three days. They are even excited to see me again after I have taken the trash out and was gone for 30 seconds. Again, lovely photos. Welcome Home.

I love the furry amdibal pictures. My husband and I are still grieving the loss of our kitty Samantha in August (steamcleaned what I think are the last of her kitty hairs from under the bed today) - the pictures really lift my spirits - Thanks for sharing your furry kids.

I love the color in that picture of the Empire State Building. When I was touring lower Manhattan with Spork and QL, I was initially unimpressed with the Flatiron building, having seen so many pictures of it.
However, on my way to a restaurant at sunset, I saw the building bathed in that final glow of the golden hour (like this, but with more gold).
The phrase "Rosetta Stone" came to mind.
