Wednesday Rasmussenblogging
The only poll worth paying attention to™:
Today, 41% of American adults approve of the way that President Bush is performing his job and 56% disapprove. That's a one point jump from yesterday. His approval rating has also remained around the same level for the past few days.
A little over three-quarters (78%) of Republicans approve of the President's performance, while just 15% of Democrats approve of the job he's been doing.
During Bush's Huge Bounce, Scottie Assmussen was crowing about how GOP support was increasing--finally broke above 80% again last week. Guess even pandering to the base with 9/11 Porn doesn't give Dubya much of a long-lasting boost these days.
This part is pretty laughable: "That's a one point jump..." Yeah, he's zooming skyward! Greg Sargent has more about the apologists' continued wishful thinking.
