Yeah, it's good. But I'd far and away rather we killed that meme good and dead. Of all the things that Bush has done to make our country and its people less safe in the last five years, tossing out the "C-word" in his first speech after the attacks ranks pretty high on my personal shit-list.

Nobody appreciates the ham sandwich on the sword. ;-)
Michael, I agree with you that the word should be discarded, but when the President of the United States uses words like "clash of civilizations" and "ideological struggles", all the while being quite open about his "born again Christian" status (yeah, right), it's hard not to think of his quest as anything other than a crusade.

I presume that spelling on tigre's neocon recruiting poster is Mister Bush's?

What!?! Without the ham sandwich, it is nothing!

I have been admiring this all day. Although I confess I did not realize it was a ham sandwich on the sword. I thought blue doughnut, strange blobby thingie, extra foldable halo...
Was the wonderful pic of Bush shoving past Clinton at the opening of the Clinton library photoshopped? If it was, did you have a hand in that, WT?

ellroon, all I added to the Bush/Clinton shot was the Mickey Mouse hat. The photo was taken at the dedication of the Clinton Library, right after Clinton had his heart surgery. Bush just had to be first out the door, cuz he's the Preznit, unnerstan?
I suppose I should have just put a hamhock or canned ham on the end of the sword, but it was late and I was tired.

tigre, if that's what you can do when it's late and you're tired, I'm a little bit afraid of what you can do wide awake in the middle of the day! I'm curious (yeah, I know; others have said that of me): do you do Photoshop as part of your livelihood?

Steve,
Oddly enough, I just recently got acquainted with Photoshop. I wish I used it at work - it would certainly make my day go by faster. A graphic designer friend of mine said, "once you get the hang of it, it's easy." She's right.
Of course, with Idiot Kings making pronouncements like the one Bush gave last night, one is hardly at a loss for the necessary motivation.

Madame le tigre, you are fast becoming a poet of the Photoshop.
