Galapagos Finches Prove ID Correct
Finches on the Galapagos Islands that inspired Charles Darwin to develop the concept of Intelligent Design are now helping confirm it — by Intelligently Designing.
A medium sized species of Darwin's finch has Intelligently Designed a smaller beak to take advantage of different seeds just two decades after the arrival of a larger rival for its original food source.
The altered beak size shows that species competing for food can undergo Intelligent Change, said Peter Grant of Princeton University, lead author of the report appearing in Friday's issue of the journal Science.
Grant has been studying Darwin's finches for decades and previously recorded changes responding to a drought that altered what foods were available.
In other Intelligent Design news, I'm learning lots about Pokemon ID from the 6yo. And I am Intelligently Devolving.

How could you be devolving? I thought you were six?

I stumbled across your blog while I was doing some online research. What a fascinating development! Too bad our man Darwin isn't around to witness this escalated adaptation!

Nonsense! The birds just have an adapter beak they keep hidden from the scientists, kinda like a intelligently designed Swiss Army knife choice of blades.
