NToddathon: Final Stretch
Just over 500 hits to go (544 at the moment). We could break the vaunted 419,067 threshold today if everybody does their part. I'm going to be busy offline until evening, but I promise cats and dogs and great merriment as we get close.
Tell everybody you know. There might even be punch and pie.

No more. I'm tired of entering my name and URL. It seems "Remember personal info?" doesn't work.
But good luck. Hope you hit your mark. I'm shooting for 5,000 (total hits) in the next few days.

Set a goal. Meet the goal. That's pretty cool.

watertiger sent me. actually, I've been here many times since the first derenegade prompt. I wanted to tell you haw touched I was by the tribute to your sister-in-law and how sorry I am for your loss. I don't know what could have prompted mean- spirited comments; there was nothing I saw that would have precipitated any. anyway, best wishes for reaching your visit landmark.

pie? Do Fafnir and Giblets know about this? I mean, they might consider it an usurpation of their prerogatives!
Posted by: Linkmeister | Jun 9, 2006 3:44:43 PM
Punch? Well, I suppose a punch is a kind of hit, and a few hits are what you've been looking for...
(Forgive me; I always get a bit punchy this time of the afternoon.)

Key Lime pie rocks. So does Boston Cream pie.
Pie question...if you baked a pie in a square pan, would that make it pie-squared??
ok...am going away now...TGIF NTodd and boyz.
Posted by: Kath | Jun 9, 2006 3:57:52 PM
I'm here. I'll have a slice of watertiger's pecan pie, if you don't mind.
Has anyone spiked the punch yet?
Posted by: jezebel | Jun 9, 2006 4:19:52 PM
Wait... you have a blog?

Hey, I've been doing my part, though I still have a sneaky desire to see that tantrum promised a week or two ago. Speaking as an older sister, I often enjoyed watching my younger siblings implode like that.
Still, good luck on your utterly arbitrary goal!

I linked to you.
I expect a rousing version of "Back Home Again in Indiana" from you.
Posted by: Attaturk | Jun 9, 2006 5:40:33 PM
I tried to start a "Birthday Pie" tradition in our household--I even made my new favorite kind: Pear/Blueberry, with a delicious buttery flakey crust (if I do say so myself). The tradition held until my oldest started reading enough birthday stories to know that cake is what people have for their birthday...
Assuming that "Back Home Again in Indiana" is a song, I second Attaturk's request (if it's some kinda gay code, though, I'll ask that you run it buy the Senate).

The General sent me here on a scouting mission. I must report a lack of punch and pie. Puppies and kittens remain an unsubstantiated rumor.

Veni, vidi, vici? Where's the vici part?

what kind of pie? and is the punch loaded with good alcohol? I don't want a cheap alcohol hangover. PS I refreshed the page a few dozen times. I hope that helps.

"Back Home Again in Indiana," Eddy Arnold from the early 60's. Should be safe to play.

Pie?! Get the Fafblog fans over here!
Posted by: Doodle Bean | Jun 10, 2006 9:18:21 AM
Good luck on your rather arbitrary quest, NTodd! I don't care for pie, but I do know all the words to 'Back Home Again In Indiana,' even though I have never been there, as I sang it at a colleague's retirement party.
Cheers,
GW
