So Much For The Decider

Dude, just fucking close it already!  You're The Decider:

President Bush said he would like to close the U.S.-run prison at Guantanamo Bay — a step urged by several U.S. allies — but was awaiting a Supreme Court ruling on how suspects held there might be tried.

Here's a thought: how about giving the detainees, like, a fair and public trial?  Don't think you need the SCOTUS to rule on that...

And of course we know what deep respect GWB has for the opinions of the U.S. Supreme Court, how he depends on their decisions to judge the rightness of his conduct. If the Supreme Court said that he was doing something improper, he would immediately stop doing it.

Yeah, right. Didn't the Supreme Court require trials for the "detainees" two years ago?
