Memorial Day Photoblogging

Damn it's hot.  But I mowed the lawn anyway--or at least the part I now have deemed Officially Mowable Lawn, as I'm letting more go to meadow than in previous years.  Poor Mex with his black fur coat finds the sun to be a little much.  Regardless, we did take a few brief jaunts out and about in between deep drinks of fresh, cold water...

Once again, Sam retreats under the deck to get away from the sun.

Oops.  Somebody left a vest or something in one of the new dugouts at the school.

Mex is really fascinated by windows, particularly at the school, and loves to peek in.

Cleaning staff better clean the windows.

Mex enjoys a cookie in the shade and tall, cool grass.

I enjoyed a tall, cool Long Trail.

It was actually supposed to rain today, so I didn't plan on biking.  Could've.  Bummer.  Maybe I'll motivate for a podcast or something later.
