Jaime Sommers Lives!
We can rebuild her. We have the technology.
Just got off the phone with NTodd's Pa, and Mom's knee surgery was a success! She didn't tolerate the anesthesia as well as she did with the thyroid procedure a couple months ago, but she's doing fine and getting a nice high from the pain meds. She'll be in the hospital most likely through the weekend, then Dad will nurse her back to health at home in between jaunts to Chez NTodd to terrorize Sam while I'm in NYC.
Thanks to all for the good wishes. Next we'll see if the orthopedic guy wants to do her other knee, check on the kidney function, and we'll move on from there.

Great news - hope it is smooth recovery too and that would be so great, if you could all go biking again. I suspect walking will do for now.
