Another Week In NYC Almost Over
Hanging at watertiger's until my car service arrives to take me to LGA. Here are some more New York pics from this week, including primitives.

WTC and West St from my 19th floor classroom.
Way more below than I probably should post, but what the hell.

A bridge and part of the subway in the WTC big hole.

The Original Evil Empire on my way home from dinner with Ev.

Drinking fountains on the 19th floor of the Verizon building.

Gah! I forgot to take a shot of the amazing, intricately carved (and out of service) brass mail box on the ground floor.

2nd floor lobby at the Embassy, from the 15th floor.

Cables on the ceiling near my hotel room.

One of the monstrous cranes in the construction area outside my hotel room.

The crane again, in front of the Verizon building. It was moving rather quickly, carrying some big metal tube.

Verizon workers on break. Weird, nobody's smoking.

Drinking on the job below my hotel window.

I walked to watertiger's to see Spamalot. Thought this sign on Bank St was funny.

A chair at the Italian restaurant where we had dinner before the show.

I think these guys wanted our dinner.

After Spamalot. Does that say MILF PLAZA?

On my subway ride back to the Embassy after the show.

Walking back to the hotel after class.

At the Chambers St station on the way to the Atriots dinner.

Exit sign at the Thai restaurant reflected on the table with my water glass. QL has a couple more pics here and here.

Clouds rolling in this afternoon.

Lightning strikes the Empire State Building a little while later.
Hopefully home tonight before midnight. Picking up Mex tomorrow morning and the pack will be whole again, presuming NTodd's Pa didn't scare Sam too badly!

Yeah, that lightning shot is amazing. Same with the cranes, the shot of the embassy and the wires hanging. You make me want to splurge and get a damn Nikon D70 already...

Wow. I didn't know that the Empire State Building had its own air defense system.
Great pics, BTW.

Wonderful photos, NTodd. They made me homesick for my decade spent in NYC.
That lightning shot is amazing.
