Silly Old Bear

So Winnie the Pooh has a Hollywood star now.  I guess that's cool--I was and still am a big fan of the bear, but I don't really care too much about the star thing.  I tell ya, though: the damned Disney theme is running through my head non-stop and it's driving me nuts.  Maybe I'll drive it out by playing Lightworks...

Damn, that cursed song boomeranged back on me.

I have always disliked the Disney Pooh, having grown up with the books. The books have such a deft touch and Disney just drives over everything with a tractor spewing sugar.

Stupid Disney bear.

Yea I do not think Disney will be around very much longer I can not remeber the last time I saw one honestly.

You know, NTodd, I'd never heard that theme song. And with luck, I never will again. I'm grateful it doesn't have a memorable tune! (Steve quickly puts on some Miles Davis to flush the brain of any Pooh residue...)

Diary of a Dog -- Day 3: Well, Grandma says I have apparently reached my limit for how long it is feasible (whatever that means ) for me to stay home alone without getting into trouble. What I did is so embarrassing that I can't write it here. When Granddaddy came to see me tonight, he could tell I knew I had done something wrong. I'm sorry.

The thing that most people don't know about those stars is that any person of mere minor glitterati status can get one --as long as they pay the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's fee.

Will the star inflate Pooh's already stuffed head? Will Pooh forget "the little people" who helped make him big like Roo and Piglet?
