USC Title 4 § 8

Speaking of Michelle "What Will We Tell The Flag Children?" Malkin, this update from her firebreathing flag post caught my eye:

Reader Keith M. : "The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. I am sure you can see the irony. The folks that think they are showing disrespect for the flag are actually signaling to everyone th[at] the US is in trouble."

Dude, it ain't irony if they meant it as a sign of national emergency.  That's what a lot of people have been doing in protest and distress since Bush started taking this country down its current disastrous path.  Amazing how these asshats just assume they know more about the flag than we do and that they can read our minds and know our true intent.

They think they can read our minds because their own minds are simple and easily read.

When Clinton was in office, I very regularly saw rightwingers flying the flag upside down. They knew what it meant then, they know what it means now. Malkin lies like most people breathe.
