Thursday Mexicoblogging

Well, we made it home safe and sound.  A long, snowy trip but Mexico is a charming little guy and an excellent travel dog--I look forward to bringing him along with Cairo on our 251 Club excursions.

We had some good play, but I don't want to encourage the biting, so I said "down!" and...

...he went down!

He also must've known "sit" at one time, though it took a little while to get him to do it consistently.  This bodes well.

After some romping in the snow and exploring the house (with Sam safely ensconced in Stef's office and Cairo at the ranch), I put the boy in his kennel for the night.  None too pleased at first, but he's now settled down.  And I need to do the same.  Sam's now sniffing around, wondering who the hell we've got locked in my office.

More on our amazing adventure tomorrow...

Yet another thing in the NTodd house that's cuter than NTodd?

I don't believe it!!

Take good care of ol' Mexico.

Between Cairo, Sam and now Mexico you are going to need a bandwidth infusion just to keep the pics rolling. Cute guy, he's going to be a nice addition to the family. Congrats on the new boy.

OMG! The energy level just shot through the roof. I think you're going to be romping in the meadow for hours at a time now. The skunks better just pack up and go.

That said, hello from one of NTodd's blogfans, Mexico! We look forward to seeing all your adventures!

He's got that twinkle in his eye, NTodd. You'll have a lot of fun with him. I hope Cairo and Sam welcome him quickly, and I look forward to seeing lots and lots of pictures.

Good luck with the new addition to the family, Ntodd!

When I got my dog (as a puppy), my cat was already full-grown and the master of all he surveyed, and he did *not* approve. However, after a period of adjustment involving much glaring, hissing, and ostentatious displays of loathing, things settled down. In fact, now they enjoy manly romping pretty regularly.

Oh the cuteness! Keep us posted on how Mexico is accepted by Sam and Cairo. :-)

Very cute, especially that last "sit" shot.

I'm assuming that Sam is staying out of the way of the new tasmanian devil, but how's Cairo doing? My then-six-year-old Hobee (a golden) was dubious about Carley (also a golden, now a one-year-old) at first, but now he is Farm Boy to her Princess. When she's wet or dirty, she holds up her paw in front of his face, so that he will lick her clean. When she gets ear mite medicine squirted in her ears, she has him lick it out. He lives to serve.

Dave tells me not to get any ideas :(

Whadda cute pup! Energizes everything and everybody, from the looks of him. I'm sure Sam and Cairo will settle, after the obigatory lil' drama...
