Dog Tired

There are some days that ya just don't have the energy to blog or podcast.  And they are good.

Asleep with his chew toys upstairs, much like Cairo with hers downstairs.

Toys appear to be the only bone of contention, as it were, between the dogs--they both like to hoard (Cairo aggressively refuses to share as the Top Dog, while Mex is naturally more passive-aggressive).  With no toys in the car, they got along very well on our cold, rainy adventure.  But now we're all more than a bit tired.  Night night.

Is that The Silmarillion at the bottom of the bookpile?

Posted by: Linkmeister | Jan 15, 2006 12:49:42 AM

Yup!

Over on the left you can just see a corner of the Telecom book I co-authored (now available as an e-book!) under Designing Business. Then there's the book I'm using for my InfoSec class, with Tolkien on top, a book on animal rights and the book I'm using in my TCP/IP class on top of that. Next to that pile has a collection of Angelo Rizzuto's NYC photographs, Tour of Duty (Kerry's biog), Unfit for Command (shitty book), and Cindy Sheehan's book (still haven't read it, but I'm sure it sucks).

You see, I still have a bit of cleaning to do in the office.

Only real geeks have hardcover copies of The Silmarillion. Even Thers's is papeerback.

You doubted my geek cred?

For the record, NTodd's Pa's Wife got the book for me. I also have it in paperback somewhere...

Alas for my lost geekiness. Mine's paperback.
