Red Alert
From the Vermont travel information system:

Winter Storm Advisory in effect until 7AM tomorrow. Be a damn shame if I were to get stuck at the Fortress. A damn shame.
Keep an eye on the quasi-official Bald Hill Mountain weather station and stay tuned to this blog for critical, up-to-the-second information on the progress of the storm and the conditions of my food and liquor supply.

Unfortunately, if the storm's that bad, we're not likely to be able to do much to help with the food or the liquor...

If you've been over to BBC News recently, they're in a similar situation of having a heavy (okay, okay, for the UK) fall of snow in Britain that looks purty on screen but is merry dickens to drive through.

Michael - I'm hoping the Spirit of Channukah will make the liquor last 8 days. I'm less concerned about the oil for our lamps.
Thea - yeah, we got about the same amount of snow as they were expecting (~15cm). I wonder if they're as well-prepared as we are here, or is snowfall like that rare enough that they just wait for it to melt like folks in the American South?

That site looks useful. They should integrate a googlemaps interface.
