Under the deck, working up the courage to head into the deeper snow.

Watching one of the feeders on our big pine tree out back.

Interesting minimalist color pallette (sp?): the rusty color of bark picked up by the leaves and Sam's eye, against the simple black and white of snow and the boy's coat.
