A Few Non-intelligent Blogs That I Read Almost Way Too Often

Indirectly via Queens lout blogger Thersites, and directly via formidable law blogger Ann Althouse, I see that contrarian Californian blogger Kevin Drum enjoys root canal and reading conservative blogs.  Alas, I have the same affliction, and here are the stupid, stupid ones I sometimes read, though I swear it's usually only under duress when taking part in a psychology experiment performed by alien midgets on their transdimensional spaceship:

  • Ann Althouse - You often hear about people who can speed talk or speed read, John observes, but what about speed listening? That's an impressive skill. Yes, I'd like to see a speed listening contest -- on ESPN, like the National Spelling Bee. You could do it by using recorded passages and playing them to the contestants at ever increasing speeds. Then, they'd be quizzed on their comprehension. It would be fun for the home viewers, because we'd lose the ability to hear the passages, and they'd still understand.
  • Dog Snot Diaries - First, I walk outside and survey the area. Then I decide I don't need a ladder, I can climb the tree and rest one foot on the window sill, hold on to the casing, and bang in the nail with my third hand. Oh, did I mention it was night time? The flashlight goes in my mouth.

Of course the inevitable happens. I slip. I don't fall, though. That would be much to manly. I somehow bite down on the flashlight and dislocate my jaw. Yes, you heard me right. Dislocate my fucking jaw. Now it hurts to eat, yawn, talk, etc etc.

Right about that time, as I'm writhing in agony, I look up at the window and think to myself: "um, retard, why not just hang out the window from the inside"?
  • Michelle Malkin - Here's an idea. Instead of going hat in hand to the liberal media elite to prevent these security-compromising disclosures, the White House should try this:

    1. Strengthen collective spine.
    2. Subpoena reporters.
    3. Find the leakers.
    4. Prosecute the lawbreakers.

Six days ago, the President said he had not ordered an investigation into the leak, but that, "There's a process that goes on inside the Justice Department about leaks. I presume that process is moving forward."

    Well, is it?

These sites should not be confused with smart, less-than-liberal sites I read with great pleasure, including:

Uh-oh, I think I hear the midgets' spaceship.  Gotta run...

» Hello? Retards anonymous? from Dog Snot Diaries
Now that I have my new toy, I have to hang the satellite antenna, right? It's pretty easy, in theory. You open the window, drive a nail into the casing, then hang the antenna on it. Unless you're a complete... [Read More]

The Altmouse blogger wonders how close to parody Althouse herself usually attains.

Well, I'm sure the Altmouse blogger does. This person's True Identity is of course known to none.

In case the Altmouse blogger is reading this, I'd like her to know that she is spot on. I hope one day we'll be able to unravel the enigma of just who the Altmouse blogger is--it is my dream to meet her in real life.
