Thanksgiving Is Cancelled!
It's still snowing, and will continue for quite some time all over the region, so NTodd's Pa has nixed our trip to Maine to see NTodd's Pa's Ma, maker of pierogi, donuts and other delights. Sigh.

...but at least it's looking like November in Vermont (or is it? I don't know... we're going to have "Santa Ana" winds in Southern California by the weekend: brushfire weather).

Sounds to me like the perfect excuse for a "nesting" weekend. Curl up with Stef and the fourlegs folk, stay warm and cozy, and just vegetate.

DP - yeah, it's good to finally have snow. We don't always get stuff that sticks until right around Xmas--just fits and starts starting in October. I love the winter wonderland.
Michael - it would be good to nest, but it's just me and Sam this week. Dropped Stef off at the airport Monday so she could surprise her Grandma in St Louis, and I don't pick her up until next Monday.

Nope, it's definitely a boy's weekend: Cairo's at the ranch. Sam and I are hanging out in our underwear and crushing beer cans on our foreheads. But I do have to go out into public on Friday with the folks.
