We had to put our 15 year old calico down over the summer. She just stopped eating. After being hospitalized and given lots of pills, she stopped eating once again. Do you know, I still catch her out the corner of my eye jumping onto my chair seconds before I go to sit down.

I can still hear my blond tabby doing his little 'can I get on the bed now' cry, and he's been gone almost 6 years. And I still 'see' my calico, who I had to euthanize in May. All of my beasties are in my head and heart, and always will be.
