Merry Christmas!

Today officially starts the Two Score Days of Christmas.  Thanksgiving with my folks has been postponed until tomorrow, and with NTodd's Pa's Ma in Maine until next Friday.  So today I plan to watch the snow fall, let Sam in and out, and do other important things, to wit:

  1. Finish my coffee and this here can of Vi-eeeeena Sassages.
  2. Record the Freddie Mercury Memorial NToddcast.
  3. Break out my Xmas DVDs
    1. The Snowman
    2. It's A Wonderful Life
    3. Rudolph
    4. A Christmas Story
    5. Charlie Brown Christmas

While I'm doing that, I hope everybody is enjoying the Macy's parade, football, turkey, or whatever you do on this day.  Maybe I'll see you around.

Happy Turkey Day to Casa NTodd!

Food Network is having a great Thanksgiving show...but my roomate who just came home from work has a thing for that damn parade with all the freaky floating balloons.

Thank goodness for the internet!

Happy Turkey Day NTodd, and another possible reason to be cheerful (Canada's holding a summit with its First Nations to see what can be done to improve the lot of its indigenes, who form less than 2% of the population. I know America's not as good as Canada on indigenous affairs generally, but maybe this sets a good precedent?)

Turkey's stuffed and in the oven, gravy, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, rolls, and 4 different kinds of pie at the ready.

Snuck away to read the blogs...scan the blogzone? blogify myself? soar the blogosphere?...we really should invent a word that describes the obsessive need for a net fix..

Want many things, need very little, thankful for much.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you wunnerful guys!

"Elf" is really good, too. Honest. Ed Asner plays Santa.

I really enjoy the George C. Scott version of "A Christmas Carol." Albert Finney's "Scrooge" too.
