Wednesday Autumnalblogging

Had some errands in town. This is up the hill from my usual Intersection spot on the bridge--I might actually relocate the project here now that I've shot this perspective a few times.
A few Not The Intersection shots below the fold, along with some other autumnal scenes...

Across 104 from my car.

Even further up from the usual spot.

Near the school.

Cornfield on Fletcher Rd.

Pleasant Acres farm, with Mt Mansfield barely peeking from behind the tree line.

A gnarly tree at Fletcher's own wicked busy intersection--recently made into a 4-way stop!

Was it not a gorgeous day in Vermont?
It certainly was, Ollie.

Looks splendid, NTodd. If you won't put your wish list on Barnes & Noble, maybe I will have to purchase a photograph. I took the family back East for some of the fall colors last year, but we never got as far as Vermont.

Do you Vermonters actually keep your streets so neat and clean? Or do you scurry out there and pick up all the discarded coffee cups and plastic bags before snatching the shot?

pvt pyle - whereabouts are you in our fair state?
Charlie - yeah, you should buy lots of pictures.
Ivy - I think the fact that shit rolls down hill has a lot to do with the apparent cleanliness. Or the garbage elves.

Oh my god, those are so beautiful. Down here, we just got our first serious cold snap of the season (almost a month late), and I doubt we'll have any good autumn color before the first freeze hits.

Nice ones. Good material for notecards to attract tourist dollars...
