The March

Praise Ba'al: I didn't hear anybody sing 'Give Peace a Chance'.  No, really!  The only reference to it was made by the Freepers in the counter protest (more about that later).  Anyway, we joined the march around the White House, it rained on us for a while but our spirits were not...wait for it...dampened in the slightest.

Chants of "What do we want? Peace!  When do we want it?  Now!"  We thought they were saying "pizza" at first, but that was just wishful thinking.  Others: "Bush Sucks!"; "No more war!"; "Bring me the head of Anne Boleyn!"  Okay, I made up that last one.

The sights:

When Bank of America throws his mighty shield...

Oodles more below the fold (posted in order they were taken because I'm too sleepy for a clever narrative)...

Oh sure, pick on Corporate America why don't you?

Hate-filled liberals trying to politicize the biggest disaster to hit the US ever.

Now that's just crazy talk!

I'm pretty sure that violates the US Flag Code.

Hopefully this peace craze will blow over soon.

Billionaires for Bush rule!

The BFBs were wicked funny and a popular attraction.

I guess a lot of people want to become Billionaires.

Damn commies and negro agitators!

It was wonderful to see so many children.

Hey, freedom ain't free.

Sniper on the White House, snipers across the street, snipers, snipers everywhere!  We waved.  They didn't wave back.

We are all wearing the blue dress now.

DC's finest protecting Bush from the focus group.

Apparently the lights were on but nobody was home in The People's House.

They forgot 'mir'.

I love it when women write stuff on their...shirts.  But there's no reason to yell at me! I know I should keep my paws of your fucking body: I'm a professional!

What the hell would a half-naked fakir know?

Thers II got a bird's eye view for a good bit of the march.

More stories and pics coming soonish...

Thanks. Wonderful to see, and your commentary was clever enough for me.

charley - no, we didn't hook up with Hecate. It was just some B4B actress. She was cute!

Meg A. Bucks here, the glove-wearing B4B actress in question (though I much prefer the term 'actvist for the corporate elite'). It was tough for us Billionaires, being surrounded by the oppressive peace-loving majority at the march, but someone has to speak power to truth.

I was signing people up to go bicycling with the President, and there are plenty of slots left.

Serously, though- B4B is a grassroots DIY campaign, which means that anyone who supports the interest of the corporations as much as I do can join. Check out the 'Be A Billionaire' section of our site at BillionairesForBush.com.
Huzzahs to all who fight the good fight.

In trust (funds),
Meg

Meg, you are both lovely and rich. Will you marry me? Or keep me as a manslave?
