Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder
Gordon doesn't really believe they're serious [about Michelle Malkin deserving to be raped], so he asks. Their response?
At least one level headed moonbat [ed: that would be yours truly!] is. "TOTALLY! With a big BROOMSTICK! But only after she's legally arrested and put in the internment camp. Rule of law, and all that..."
NTodd doesn't just want to rape Malkin, though. He has a list:

2) Your striped bass
3) Your mother
4) Your masturbatory fantasy, Malkin
5) Your pygmy marmoset, MartinWhy advocate rape? Aren't they progressive? Haven't the liberals been whining about Robers and his lack of support for women's rights? Again, not NTodd. For the record, I took back the broomstick comment. Since then I have been consistent in my position that Malkin's vagina dentata should be brutally raped with a lightsabre. I wish these wingnuts would stop misrepresenting what I've said. Fuckers.

Here's my two-part two cents, so... either one cent each, or four cents total, who knows.
1. I'm pretty sure none of us actually wants to literally rape Malkin, any more than we want to actually fuck Bush. It's an over-the-top way of saying that we want something awful to happen to an awful person.
2. As to whether she "deserves" it, I would say, right now, no - vile, bigoted crackpots are a dime a dozen, and she hasn't really *harmed* anyone in any material sense. However, if she were to succeed in getting hundreds of thousands of American Arabs and/or Muslims interned in camps, she would be guilty of (or at least very complicit in) an human rights atrocity and all bets would, as they say, be off.

2) I'd still tend toward mercy rather than American-style 'justice', which is why I don't dig the whole 'Nazi hunter' thing.
lea-p - context: I tried to take what I thought was absolutely the most absurd position possible in a stupid debate with a wingnut troll to demonstrate a point about how they ascribe wacko ideals to our side. Apparently the lesson was lost. Now I revel in how completely stupid they are.

Fiery rhetoric flies from both sides of the aisle. As far as rhetoric goes, I don't suppose the Malkin reference is any more horrific than 'let's turn some Middle Eastern nation into glass!', that seems to be all the rage with the neocon Fritos Fighters. I'm not really interested in their feigned chivalry or humanity. They're not fooling anybody.

Auguste - exactly. I really thought gordo and his friends would catch on, especially when I used lightsabre with a non-American spelling and referred to raping his pygmy marmoset named Martin. He's never denied having one, I guess that confirms he really does, but I didn't know that at the time.

Maybe I'm one of those famously lacking in a sense of humor feminists, but frankly I find the whole thing more than a little offensive, and particularly when coming from someone who makes a point about talking in great detail about the role of non-violence in political resistance.
Rape = violence.

fiat - again, the point was that a troll was trying to paint "the left" as objectively pro rape when one woman commenter made an off-color remark (which she retracted) about Malkin. I was curious to see how far I could take it before the absurdity of the situation sank in. It never did. I mean, really, as someone who has argued _ad nauseum_ with these same people about the use of NV action, wouldn't that trigger just some skepticism about my claims? But no, they gleefully pick up any words uttered in any context and use them as "proof" that liberals are bad, evil, icky, whatever.
Sorry if you are offended by my tack. As I told somebody else, I knew it was risky to use it at all, and even riskier to post about it here. But I've also never been one to believe that any subject is taboo.
