why would you stoop to such a sexist low-class level and call Malkin a cunt? Of almost all the left-wing nutcases I read, you seem to be one of the nicest (generally) and reasonable. Yet when Atrios waves his flag in his lates jihad against malkin, you jump in in a way that really is at odds to your generally temperate and intelligent form.

rugo - Cairo likes Saffron. She's still not all that pleased with Sam, but she has clearly accepted him into the pack and will defend him from interlopers. And speaking of the boy, he got Em's e-mail and will respond when he comes home from hunting mice.

Who knows about Malkin. Apparently there is a daughter. Is there actually a husband? Did he live through the experience? In this case believing in cabbage patches and storks is a lot less stomach-turning.

Ironically, over lunch, I just finished reading Chapter 6, "Private Lives and Public Lies," of Conason's Big Lies, which depicts fucking family-friendly congressional Republicans as being more fucking than family-friendly.
And personally, I think Cairo is too much a good dog even to appear in the same post with the Malkin-beast (of whom CultureGhost recently had an appropriate picture).
